That is doubly true given that the Bills dont have any other skill position that New England needs to be concerned with. Add the fact that Gillislee is listed as questionable and Asiata is listed as fully healthy and facing a favorable matchup against the Chicago defense, and it makes Asiata the selection. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady?- Conor Torres (@Conor_Torres) October 30, 2016The short-passing game worked for Rodgers and the Packers last week, and it can work for the foreseeable future. That said, the Packers vertical passing game has been abysmal this season, and they may not have Randall Cobb, who is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Bradys vertical passing numbers are better, and hes every bit as accomplished on short passes, so Brady is the pick here. -- KC@ESPNFantasy #StartSitESPN Matt Ryan or Drew Brees?- Pron3Halo (@Pron3halo) October 30, 2016There is reason to be concerned about Brees facing the Seahawks defense, but dont forget that Seattle has allowed 335 or more passing yards in each of the past two weeks and gave up three touchdown passes against the Falcons at home in Week 6. That puts Brees among my top five fantasy quarterbacks this week, but the matchup against a banged-up and talent-challenged Packers secondary that will be playing multiple backup cornerbacks makes Ryan one of the few passers to rate ahead of Brees this week. -- KC#StartSitESPN Lamar Miller or Blount, standard league- Camden Olivero (@CamdenOlivero) October 30, 2016Blount rates ahead of Miller by more than 2 yards in my good blocking yards per attempt metric that gauges how productive a back is when given quality run blocking (7.3 for Miller, 9.5 for Blount). The Patriots offense is also much more powerful than Houstons offense and thus will likely give Blount more scoring opportunities. This combination makes Blount the pick in this one. -- KCGolden Tate or DeVante Adams #StartSitESPN- DRE (@andrem00re) October 30, 2016The aforementioned story about the Packers passing game notes that Adams is the only Green Bay wide receiver to post a double-digit yards-per-attempt total on vertical passes this season. Tate has improved very much of late, but hes also facing a Houston defense that has allowed the third-fewest points per game to opponents wide receivers (16.0). Combine that with Adams facing a favorable matchup against an Atlanta secondary that just allowed its season high in yards to opposing wide receivers last week (264 versus San Diego) and it makes Adams the selection. -- KCMathew Stafford or Russell Wilson#StartSitESPN- Angel Camacho Jr (@A_CamachoJr) October 30, 2016Wilson has the highest matchup points total in my schedule scoring system that grades matchups on a 0-100 scale, with 100 being the most favorable. His 93 mark in this category is much higher than Staffords 33, a total that ranks tied for fifth lowest. Add the possibility that the Seattle-New Orleans game turns into a shootout (Seattle has allowed 300 or more passing yards in each of the past two games) and it makes Wilson the selection. -- KCChristine Michael OR Spencer Ware? Can only start one... #StartSitESPN #FirstPlaceProblems- James Plumlee (@Das_Plum) October 30, 2016Talk about a good quandary to have. Both Ware and Michael rate among the top four among starting running backs in my 0-100 matchup points scale (with 100 being the best). The Saints defense is so bad that Michael actually ends up only two points away from a perfect score, while Ware is at 85. Ware also has a greater chance of having playing time taken away by Charcandrick West. Put it all together, and Michael is the better of these two highly favorable options. -- KCGreg Olsen or Jimmy Graham? #startsitESPN- Jeremy Stewart (@Stewbug82) October 30, 2016This is a very tough call, as Olsen and Graham rate among the top three in my tight end rankings this week. Olsen has a track record of seeing more targets, both short and vertical, than Graham. That gives him higher overall and downside scores than Graham. Given that they rank nearly even in my upside score category, it gives Graham a clean sweep and makes him the selection. -- KC#StartSitESPN Kelvin Benjamin or Michael Thomas?- Jeremy Stewart (@Stewbug82) October 30, 2016Benjamin is likely to see a lot of Patrick Peterson in coverage. As tough as Seattles secondary is, the Seahawks have allowed 300 or more passing yards in each of the past two weeks. Even if his rapport with Dak Prescott wasnt so strong early this season, Bryant is an elite red zone weapon, given his touchdown rate over the years, and the Eagles outside corners have proved susceptible this season. Its also about the nature of the respective offenses, as the Cowboys lead the league in points per drive, while the Vikings are in the bottom third of the league. -- J.MAlex smith John McCown or Carson Palmer #StartSitESPN- Dave White (@davedwane) October 30, 2016With the Jets blitzing so much last week (around 47 percent of dropbacks against the Ravens), Im fading Josh McCown outside of deeper leagues. With Carson Palmer struggling this season and on the road against a rested Carolina defense, Id prefer to send out the safe and steady Alex Smith. The Chiefs are in a game with a high implied point total against an exploitable Colts defense, while Smiths rushing production helps drive a high fantasy floor. -- J.MPick two please! As for Willie Snead, hes still among the top three targets of Drew Brees at home, which helps support a high ceiling, despite?a low floor against the Seahawks. Even if Murray is due a heavy workload, his inefficient results last season signal we can take the risk on Montgomerys impressive receiving role and the upside he offers with Cobb ruled out. Hogan has the narrative angle against his former club, but his real upside is as the vertical target for the Patriots.
