Boston Celtics big man Al Horford will sit out one more game after being put into the NBAs concussion protocol following a hit to the head during Mondays practice.Horford did not play in Wednesday nights 107-100 win over the?Chicago Bulls, and?Celtics coach Brad Stevens told Boston sports radio 98.5 The Sports Hub that he also ruled Horford out for Thursdays game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.The Celtics on Wednesday said Horford didnt have symptoms Monday evening or during Tuesdays pre-practice period. He was cleared to practice on Tuesday; symptoms presented themselves during the session, and Horford was removed from practice and sent home.He came to practice -- when he was lifting and shooting, he felt good there, Stevens said. He was cleared to practice and then, when he got into a few drills, then he started feeling some nausea. And so thats why he ultimately was stopped and removed and went home.Further evaluation Tuesday night by team physicians led to Horfords placement in the leagues concussion protocol program.He felt better today but still had some symptoms, Stevens said.
